About Us

Hold Your Hand Events is an event-planning company founded by Alexis DiVincenti and Vicki Perryman, two experienced event planners who have seen it all and are now teaming together to make sure that you don’t have to.

Alexis and Vicki met in 2005 when they worked together in events space management, and after seeing first-hand the stress and drama created by poorly planned events, they decided to take matters into their own hands. Alexis is a native New Yorker who has worked in event planning and space management for nearly a decade. 

Vicki grew up watching her grandmother, who owned and operated her own catering company in the Midwest, so event planning runs in her blood and she has worked in the industry for as long as she can remember.  She has experience all around the globe, but has been in New York for over a decade, and is the fiercest vendor contract negotiator in town. 

Between Alexis's attention-to-detail and personable demeanor, Vicki's vast connections and expertise, and their mutual abilities to multi-task and handle any and all problems that come their way with a smile, they make an event-planning dream team. Don’t go through your special day without them!
